DSFs Profile
The Danish Actors Association (DSF) is the Danish trade union of actors, opera singers, dancers, and choreographers.
DSF was founded in 1904 as one of the first professional actors associations in the world. As a trade union, DSF aims to protect the interests of the members through the following measures:
The EuroFIA Dance Passport may be issued to dancers within the EU, who thus gain access to membership service from DSF.
DSF helps provide jobs in films, TV, theatre, etc.

DSF was founded in 1904 as one of the first professional actors associations in the world. As a trade union, DSF aims to protect the interests of the members through the following measures:
- Agreements concerning payment and working conditions at the theatres, on the radio, on television, and on TV; pursuing of contract cases; and legal aid.
- Protecting the work of performing artists through legislation and agreements and legal aid in copyright cases, cases of abuse of a performers picture, etc.
- Cultural political initiatives to improve the conditions of artistic work both nationally and internationally, among other things through membership of FIA (www.fia-actors.com) (Federation Internationale des Acteurs) and NSR (the Nordic Actors Council).
- Attending to the social and educational needs of the members.
